It will also save you money in the long run. How you may ask? Remodeling myth #2: Remodeling is to expensive.

Remodeling myth #3: Remodeling will trash the yard and the house.
One thing to keep in mind when hiring a conrtactor is how well they do cleaning up after every part of the remodel. Most families will stay in their homes while they are having something remodeled. If they do we always go over a remodeling plan and if they have any concerns we make sure to address them as soon as possible. Always make sure the contractor uderstand that you are going to be living through the remodel and that you would like to maintain your living space. If they are a good contractor they will clean up everyday they are there and make sure you are ok with what is going on.
Remodeling myth #4: A designer is needed to remodel your kitchen or bathroom.
To be honest it depends on what you are having done to your kitchen or bathroom. Designers are needed when you are going to do an extravigant design that requires some more attention then normal. Designers give you an outside look at cabinets, countertops, and more that some contractors do not.
Remodeling myth #5: A permit is not required when remodeling.
The fact is no matter what you are doing to your kitchen or bathroom you need a permit. When you are remodeling your kitchen and bathroom pulling a permit is required to ensure that the plumbing and electric are done correctly. We do not want you to have any water leaks or electrical issues when we are done with the remodel.
Remodeling myth #6: Kitchen and Bathroom remodeling does not require HOA approval.
Getting HOA approval is a huge part of the remodeling process. We are not allowed to do work if the HOA does not approve for us to be there. We have to follow the requirements that they set for us and for what the permiting departments set for us as well. It is important to keep them informed on what we are doing and the remodeling plan.
